To coincide my periods with major exams.
Ugh.
I think for the past two years, I've gotten my periods during every single exam period (oh...2 and a half if you include the HSC). And usually it's because it decides to delay itself until the night before the stupid exam.
Does anyone know of a way to...stimulate menstruation...short of taking contraceptive pills or going to the doctor? >__>;;;
It's been 3 months since my last, and since it had been holidays, it's obviously not delayed due to stress!
...Sorry about this post, if anyone's squirmish about seeing this topic in public >__>;

Date: 2006-03-11 05:31 am (UTC)I'm still not very regular either, even though apparently people are supposed to be when they've had it since year 8 or so :/ ^__^ what you described above fits my periods too =__=
btw, why do you want to 'stimulate menstruation'?

Date: 2006-03-11 05:58 am (UTC)Damn people who has it so effortlessly.
(Part of the reason why I'm not sure I want to go through childbirth is because sometimes the menstrual pain is already so bad)
Yeah...my one's never settled down ~~;;;; It would be regular about twice every year, but since it's usually so far apart (and if irregular, always delayed)...I probably only had mine about 5 times last year ~~;
Oh, I want to have it now instead of 2 weeks later during GAMSAT.

Date: 2006-03-11 06:31 am (UTC)oh, don't worry about childbirth; when I was in hospital I met someone who both broke their leg _and_ gave birth (not at the same time though), and she said breaking a leg hurts much much more. assuming we go through similar levels of period pain, I'd say it won't get much more painful for you when you are giving birth, if you choose to. (although, it will be more painful. just not much much more :D)
lol, I see. erm.. you should try to ovulate right away. *stare* contraceptive pills might be an option too, but considering how my mum gave me a ..talk (just because I have a boyfriend), if your parents see you with contraceptive pills.. =____=||| *hands fenglet earplugs*
~~
* but I'd scream in english, rather than in cat :D

Date: 2006-03-11 07:26 am (UTC)Begin biology lesson:
Ovulate is when the egg goes from ovary to uterus, usually occurs about a week or so after your last period.
Menstruate: the time when your period comes (shedding etc etc)
/End biology lesson
^^;;;;;;;
Don't worry, I used to think they meant the same thing too.
