Ish late now so I'll keep this one quick
I have to start out by saying....
Light-hearted Train sounds like SHINN ASUKA.
ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Okay, I know that Shinn Asuka's voice actor (Suzumura Kenichi) actually has a GORGEOUS voice WHEN HE'S NOT SHINN, but...as I said 2 seconds ago, he has a gorgenous voice when he's not Shinn!!!
It's just like...Kira's voice actor as Goku T___T
It's half a year since Train joined them on the road. They're all starving because Train's such a pig and Sven has no luck with money. They have a notice for Igor Planter (not in manga...if I remember correctly), but they're carefree as always. Or at least Train is. Sven's pissed and Eve just wants more books to read.
Nearby, Rinslet completes one of her newest thefts, but just as she's ready to leave she gets accosted by Janus, who calls her by her real identity. She goes bad-temperedly with him for a drink, and he says his pick-up lines to her. Rinslet coldly tells him to get to the point. After a bit of background story about what's happening with Creed and Train, he tells her that he wants her to steal a sample of the elixir that the Taoists use to turn people into Taoists.
Given the clues, she chases up people and work out where the next target is located. Apparently the Taoists have freed a number of criminals and are then giving them the elixir. In that town, she runs into Train et co.
Also in that town are Charden (top hat, blood guy) and Kyoko (Japanese schoolgirl), who find Igor and give him the elixir, inviting (insinuating) him to join the revolution. He hesitates and when they see that he doesn't have the passion, they leave.
To cut a long story short. Well, it wasn't that long, but I can't be bothered going into details of Eve and Train's bet, anyhow. Eve goes and finds Igor, who eventually goes crazy because he's a plants freak who has no regard for human life, and as soon as Eve started accusing him, he lost it. Eve accidentally stepped on one of his flowers and he went berserk, glugged down the elixir and attacked Eve. Train comes to the rescue, but got poison dust blown into his eyes. Sven and Rinslet come to the rescue. Sven then notices Train being surprisingly calm and tells Rins to stop firing. Train judges by the sound of a pendant around Igor's neck and shoots the guy, who then implodes ==;
They don't get the reward and so Train has to starve, again.
Ze end.
I hope the anime doesn't get filled up with episodes like these ~~; Filler episodes are something that happen are lot in shounen, but at least this one introduced some new stuff in the plot: Charden and Kyoko's existence, Janus and Rinslet meeting, Rinslet meeting Train as Train. The rest of it didn't serve much purpose except to have Train come in to save the day.
Next week seems to be the big-muscled guy who liked hunting down women and children (in the manga). It also looks like Kyoko would be falling for Train next week (already? ~~;)
Episode 8: Miwakusuru neko! (A captivating cat...okay, the translation was "a charming cat" but...I don't think Train was intending to be charming, especially when it came to Kyoko...)
