Black Cat opening
3 Nov 2005 10:30 amWas just checking that the file had downloaded properly.
I really like the opening song ToT It's not extremely original music-wise or really nice singing-wise, but it really fits the slightly tragic mood of BC (especially where the anime took from). It's strange, even though it's a pretty upbeat song, it still managed to sound sad.
And I think the lyrics are lovely. They fit the anime and Train's motivation very well...instead of the usual songs that doesn't seem to have anything to do with the anime whatsoever ==;;;
Daia no Hana (The diamond flower?)
The beginning is always the same
Beneath the violet sky
For the vow I made, now I am
Walking forward
In the desert that glitters the colour of gold (burning wind)
I am searching for a diamond flower (continuing to wander)
For the first time, for someone else's sake,
I am living
There is something I want to protect
Once again...I will not lose it once again
Echoing on, more fleeting than anyone,
Tougher than anyone, this beating sound
The progression of the plot changes again ==; Train, Sven and Rinslet work together but against each other to break Eve out of Torneo's mansion. Train was given the mission to kill Eve, but in the end he does not. I think Chronos assumed that she was dead given that the mansion was burnt out and everyone else was half-dead.
Train wants to quit Chronos next episode (finally). We'll probably see Saya dead within about 3 or 4 episodes. Unless they want to drag out his quitting decision.

Also...rather than hopeful, it sounds determined. I guess that fits with Train's "determined to be a stray" sort of morale.
