I'm nearly 3 days late, but at least it's here...LOL

Still have a month or so to go, but once CNY passes it'll be our year~ 2 rounds of zodiacs will have passed since the year I was born...wow, what a depressing thought.

Of course, that means Kame was on this year's Johnny's Countdown as 年男...along with Uchi~! (There are probably others, probably in NEWS, but since I don't know them......meh)

Apparently your own zodiac year is meant to be the worst year...but what? I loved year 7! It was the peak of my life! (Not really LOL)

Watching Best Artist 2009...yappa none of the Johnny's groups can sing Orz Kanjani8 made me cringe, V6 was pretty bad, NEWS was surprisingly horribly off-tune, and KAT-TUN was just as off-tune as expected Orz

Kame was surprisingly on-tune during "Seishun Amigo" (even though he missed half of the first line LOL) but once "One Drop" started he was so high it was just =0=;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; Kid...settle down and stay on tune please |||||Orz

Thank you Jin for being the only one on-tune and normal, if only you'd stop looking like an African-American wannabe and at least show your pretty face to your fans =___=;;;;;;;;

Ayaka's live singing is so nice and ON TUNE (I'm sorry...people going off tune really creeps me out Orz) 實力歌手果然不一樣 *望天*

So Exile has 14 members now...2 singers and 12 backup dancers ||||Orz One of the guys sing better than the other in live performances, but I like the other guy's voice better...=T

Arashi sounded like they were synching for "One Love" and "Truth", because they suddenly went off-tune in "Happiness". Not that it really mattered because they sung most of it in a group and you can't usually tell with groups going off-tune, and the solo bits were carried by Ohno, who is rarely off tune =v=

Happy new years!!! I didn't know your year is supposed to be the worst year XDDDD... but I still have a couple of years before I need to worry then XDDD. Kame's ROAR during countdown was so LOL and adorable XDDD. And the other guy is Massu XD who I didn't even know was the same age as Kame XDDDDD.

Kanjani8... I never really expect them to be in tune, but Subaru usually manages to get it.... however I didn't see their BA perf so can't comment too much XDDD. Kame's.... XDDDD his little blunder reminded me of their MS perf, but I'm surprised by how it seems like he's getting more and more off as the years go ><. He was more consistent before, but now it seems he's going off more ><. And Jin... for some reason, I don't think he was singing live ><... can't really tell, but he sang live during countdown and was on-tune (♥ his voice), but in BA, it sounded like it was recorded ><. I could be wrong though haha. And NEWS... well, I didn't expect them to be on-tune at all XD, but Shige managed to surprise me... in a not so pleasant way XD *bricked*

Really? I can't stand Subaru's singing even though a lot of people keep saying he's good =___=;;;; I'm just not into the whole enka business, and the way he stretches his voice or whatever it is he does just sends shivers down my back...not in the good way.

Kame's been surprisingly on tune for Seishun Amigo this year...he made it listenable in 24Hr because OMG Yamashita ==;;;;;;;;; I think he doesn't play around as much as he does with KT songs. When he sings properly instead of doing twirls at the camera he's not as noticeably off ==;;;

Ah NEWS...well I was expecting Tegomass to be on tune but when Massu opened his mouth I fell off my chair. And yes, Shige...LOL

I hope Yamashita cuts his hair for Code Blue because he looks really scary at the moment.

My years were 2008 and 1996, and I wouldn't call either my worst by a long shot. School was hell in 1996, but so much other good stuff happened that I don't consider it a bad year at all. How can I hate on a year that brought me Sailor Moon (albeit the horrible dub, but I didn't know any better then), Abba's Super Trouper album (found in the hall cupboard), the Spice Girls, a squealing-filled birthday party and the idea to create Sailor Moon spinoff Sue-manga? (Don't worry, I would never have posted it online. I wouldn't even let my family look at it. Although, come to think of it, if some of the Suethors featured in Babb Chronicles showed their creations to their families they'd probably be dragged to a psychiatrist before you can say "temporary uterus"...)

For me, it tends to be the -9 years that bring the most suckiness (even 1989, when I was 5! I had a lot of trouble adjusting to starting school and getting a younger brother, and got into trouble a lot) But I always manage to get things back on track in the -0 years, so better things are ahead!

If you think the current Johnny's artists can't sing, you should hear the very first stuff! My friend uploaded a song by one of the very first acts and it was AWFUL! It was so bad that I deleted it straight away.

...Wait, One Love and Truth are both from 2008! Maybe Arashi know that everything they released in 2009 (with the exception of Believe/Kumori Nochi Kaisei, which is pure gold) were really blah...

You must be right! I think Johnny's groups have been getting steadily better in terms of singing. I mean, I find Tokio and Arashi and KAT-TUN live performances listenable. The other groups have good and bad days, some have more bad than good. Their youngest group Hey! Say! JUMP are actually pretty good singers, although it's hard to tell how much of their performances are synched. It's a bit embarrassing because their on-tune-ness made me smitten with them (and they're adorable kids too), but they're so YOUNG it feels like a crime *buries self in hole*

Akanishi is into the whole American black street culture ==; Hiphop, punk, etc. While some of his music choice isn't bad (for example, I am totally with him on his fondness for Crystal Kay), sometimes one wants to punch his head in because no (especially non-English-speaking) country should ever be exposed to the sort of language, images and sexual innuendos in some of his "self-written" (PFFT) songs. If you're curious, look up Love Juice =___=;;;;; (A lot of people like it so maybe I'm just too conservative or whatever...but sensual songs are fine, that sort of stuff is just.....tasteless)

He does often say that he likes girls with tanned skin, so maybe he IS into the whole gal thing too ==;

My guess is "Hey! Say! JUMP" was pulled from their activities to make room for that stupid NYC act (Nakayama Yuma, Yamada Ryosuke, Chinen Yuri) which looks like such a tightly orchestrated publicity stunt =_____=

The song is in HSJ's style, so it's not bad. Yamada and Chinen are both good singers out of HSJ. I have no idea about Nakayama's skills, but clearly the entire setup is just to promote him. He debuted at the same time in another group, called "Nakayama Yuma w/ B.I.Shadow", which pretty much translates to "Nakayama Yuma and some other guys we don't care about", as well as being in a pathetic drama at the same time (think the Japanese version of Twilight, but with an added teacher-student bent).

Therefore at his debut, he nagged a number of "firsts": the first person to debut in two groups at the same time, the first group to feature a person's name in its name, the youngest group to debut even though he's the oldest one in that group (i.e. they threw a bunch of kids in B.I.Shadow to drag the average age lower than Hey!Say!JUMP). Not to mention HSJ was pushed underground to make way, and completely unrelated HSJ members had to sing his songs on programs??

Even if his music is good, the way this is done really disgusts me and I can't bring myself to like him or either of his groups, even though Yamada and Chinen are among my favourites from HSJ.

And the worst thing is I'll probably download NYC because I loved HSJ's music that much. Actually, no! That's good! PIRATE THEM!!!!!!
