In the process of trying to find new pictures for an icon, I came upon this rather gallant looking picture of the (Gintama) Shinsengumi trio. At first my caption for it was "Look, we can look cool too!"
And then on closer inspection, it was swiftly changed to:
Okita: Can you not see that with a flick of my wrist I can decapitate either the mayonnaise freak or the gorilla captain? Obviously I'm a genius =v=
So in commemoration(?), I've changed my icon to Okita, my favourite sadistic character of all time =D
There's a huge in-joke there that you wouldn't get if you haven't read/watched Gintama LOL
But ever since yesterday's post (the one about this season's anime *cough*) I've fallen madly in love with Kazukiyone's art. But this picture from her blog freaked me out:
I thought it was a normal picture and dismissed it and then 10 seconds later while i was looking at the sidebar it started blinking and sighing in the corner of my vision and I nearly crashed off the chair. It didn't help that it's a rasetsu/oni ==;;;
I'm astounded though that the Okita and Hijikata in "Hakuouki" are so Gintama-like ==;; Gintama has totally corrupted the pristine image of Okita as a gentle but excellent swordsman who is kind with children. Now everyone thinks Okita is a sadistic psycho who derives joy from inflicting pain on others...wait, that's the same as sadistic.
Apparently Saitou and Yamazaki formed a Hijikata fanclub in "Hakuouki". I wanna join XDDDDDDDD ....But I want to join for the Gintama one. LOL.

It's such an enormous contrast to his picture on Wikipedia *sniggers*
I'm so glad I don't have any gaming platforms or I'm going to go crazy downloading the games she illustrated simply for the art Orz
