I'm so sick of writing about the graduated licensing system *cries* [someone who hasn't been trying very hard at all...]
So I'm spamming my friends with...spam =D
I would have used my Jdora display pic, but since it's something Yama-chan is in...obviously had to use this one XD
Yama-chan walks like Ryou-chan now [Ryou: *death glare*], which I find immensely hilarious. At least he's not posing like he used to in Tantei Q ==;;
The plot is really crap, to be honest. I sort of considered it as my 115 minutes worth of Japanese listening practice because I couldn't find a subbed version. There are gaping holes in the extremely forced plot that will become even more gaping once I see the subtitled version >__>;;;
Yama-chan (Yamada Ryosuke) plays a rather ordinary kid called Tanaka Ainosuke (personally I think anyone who has an embarrassing name like that deserves to be knocked around *gets kicked*). He gets a corneal transplant from his brother, whose body was found the next day after an explosion in his lab. Ainosuke (this name is begging to be called Ai-chan ==;;;;;;;) starts seeing flashes of images in his left eye (the transplanted one), and those images sharpen when he's hit around the head. Poor Yama-chan T-T He believes that his brother's death was no accident and these images will lead him to the truth.
Ishihara Satomi plays Ainosuke's really hirahira teacher (did I just make that expression up?) who is in need of money because she splurged too much on Gucci handbags ==;;;;;;; She's also got an obsession with doing things that people tell her NOT to do, including touching anything that has a sign saying "DO NOT TOUCH". I have no idea what the point of her character is, because after a while she's no longer funny and starts getting really really irritating. On the other hand, she's a lot more animated than in Voice and as a result it shows off her pretty face better ==;
I have to admit though that there's more chemistry going on here between Ishihara and Yama-chan than there is in that Koishite Akuma drama...then again, maybe I'm just biased. I think the main reason is because the teacher is childish to the point that even Ainosuke appears more emotionally mature than she is |||||Orz
Without spoiling too much...let's just say I knew they wouldn't let Yoko's supreme villain-playing-abilities go to waste! MUAHAHAHA! Go Yoko ♥~~~~ [This person likes Yoko for all the wrong reasons ♥] But the final set-up is reminding me of Spiral without an inch of Spiral's cleverness =___=; It screams sequel, except I don't want to watch the sequel if the plot is this stupid.
Yama-chan's acting has really improved a lot, even compared to last year's Scrap Teacher. They actually let him do crying scenes now...although personally I think he did a better jobstrangling Ryou crying in the 24H special. He's gotten a lot subtler, with much less posturing, although I still don't think he's quite as natural as Hikaru ♥ But the nearly-final bit where he faces down the "enemy"...woah...Yama-chan is totally losing out on aura there XD Motto ganbatte ne~
It's actually quite fun watching Jap ads because they're full of famous actors XDDDD It's like celebrity spotting. LOL.
