mayoraaseiIt's been really hard to find early raws these days so if you guys know of anyone who scans Hana to Yume...please give me a message =D

- For the 16 of you guys who told me how HSP could tell Yuka was pregnant, yes, you're all correct! The author confirms it this issue by saying that by the light he could see in Yuka's abdominal area, he knew that the child possessed an Alice.
- HSP shows her the secret doorway that Mikan et co used to travel out of to meet Yuka in volume...9 or whatever. He asks her where she wants to go, and she says her parents. He tells her that if she needs to she should go find Kaoru, and asks her to look after herself.
- Jinno-sensei tells Yuka to hurry up because the vortex is closing while Shiki calls out after her. Yuka remembers what Kaoru said to her as she graduated, that they should greet each other at the front door in 5 years time (i.e. at Yuka's expected graduation). Yuka lets go of his hand and says farewell, symbolically to everyone she left behind at the school.
- As Shiki stares at the closed vortex/keyhole, we FINALLY cut back to the main characters of this series =________= Mikan's getting teary again.
- Cut back to Yuka, who finds herself on the footpath. She realises she's holding a little bag that Shiki had stuffed into her hands just before she left, and it contains both MSP's and Shiki's Barrier Alice stones. A woman opens the gates in front of her and asks if she's okay, and Yuka responds by calling her "Mum". Time-kun goes twisted again and we jump forward. Her family asked her what she's doing and called the school, only to be told that Yuka ran away from school. The raws I'm looking at aren't very clear so I'm half guessing at the words...It looks like they don't really want to take care of her and they are uneasy about her being a "problem child" as reported by the school. She sees her younger brother, Daiki, who tries to talk to her but gets stopped by...someone. Her dad? She tells them that she had better be going and teleports away.
- Noda says that after that Yuka depended on the Barrier Alice to keep in hiding by herself, because she realised when she visited her family that her presence brought danger to anyone she stayed with. Mikan is looking a little moved.
- Cut forward to Shiki's graduation. He's staring dazedly up at the sky. The graduation certificate falls from his hand and he teleports away. Kaoru reads from a computer that the disappearance of the student president - and the successor to MSP's duties - on the day of his graduation causes a lot of uproar in the school, but he was unable to be traced. Natsume's dad remarks that it's been half a year since they were told what happened by HSP, and Kaoru says that Yuka should probably be okay with the Barrier Alice stone. She grumbles about Yuka being pregnant and not acting like she's looking after it. Natsume's dad laughs and tells her that she's pregnant too and should look after herself too, to which she responds "Yeah yeah" LOL.
- She suddenly sits up and says that she can sense Yuka from the building. I can't believe her husband calls her by "Kaoru-san" =___=;;;; Yuka collapses at Kaoru's door.
- LOVE Mikan and Natsume's expressions as Yuka throws herself into Kaoru's arms (okay, not quite like that XD)
- Yuka's in labour already and Natsume's parents go into panic mode as they get things organised for a home delivery. As the child is born, we see an image of Yukihira holding the baby and saying, "Yuka, you did your best...You're really amazing. Look, it's an adorable girl. See...it's 'Mikan'."
Okay...I'm confused. I'm pretty sure Natsume's dad says "you have Aka-chan in your tummy too, so you should stop being so careless", which would make Natsume younger than Mikan?! Unless she's pregnant with Aoi? But Natsume's birthday is November...which would make her pregnant within 2 months of giving birth..no way! Let's see what she says next issue ==; If Mikan's birthday isn't 1st January, it would explain why Yuka is dressed for summer =___=;;; I think Mikan's a May child...it would fit her hyper personality XDDD It would have to be after but close to March, judging by Shiki's timeline, because (someone correct me if I'm wrong) Japan have their graduation ceremonies in March.

I think that Jan. 1 is just the day that Mikan picked to be her b-day, not her actual one? I enjoy the flashbacks too but I really want to get back to the main story already :|

Date: 2009-09-09 12:35 pm (UTC)It's been... what, four volumes since the flashback started? (I can't actually remember, but it seems about long.) I don't mind it as much as some others, but I'm not sure that there was much point in this chapter either.
Yeah, I don't think Mikan ever knew her real birthday so the adoption agency/her grandfather/whatever probably just picked 1st January. I'm guessing they were referring to Natsume in this case. I'm confused. :S
