- Yuka literally runs away from right under Luna and PSP's noses.
- Narumi is getting worried because Yuka hadn't returned. Misaki-sensei notices him walking by himself. At first he's all "TSK" until he sees - along with Naru - Yuka fallen in the grass.
- PSP is in hospital with an oxygen mask. Luna watches worriedly while a voiceover (not hers) says that it feels like life has stopped after this happened to PSP and saying they need to start thinking about what to do in the future. There was no way of healing the Decay Alice. PSP opens his eyes and says Luna's name.
- Okay...am confused: apparently as a side effect of the Nullification Alice that Yuka implanted, it has stopped PSP's innate Clone Alice and caused him to become younger. Er what? This is pretty illogical...why doesn't the Nullification Alice stop the Decay Alice from acting? And in the past the Implantation Alice has given people like Shiki and Tsubasa the ability to use the Alices that were implanted, what makes PSP a special case in that he gets attacked by the Alices? I know that the Decay Alice affects the user (as with Persona), but even the Nullification Alice is acting up?? Besides, aren't Alice Stones finite power sources? After a few uses it lose its power, right? So why a) couldn't PSP use the Alices, and b) didn't he use them to get rid of the Alice Stones? Or are implanted Alice Stones somehow limitless in potency? Judging from how Shiki's been abusing his, I'm guessing they are.
- PSP calls out for Luna and Persona, who are watching over him, and says that he can only trust the two of them out of this entire school, and that they have to help him hunt down Yuka. Luna agrees and promises that she would stay on PSP's side, even if no one else would. In her mind she thinks that this is the only relationship she has left now, because Yukihira is gone and Yuka had said goodbye to her. She silently says "Goodbye Yuka-chan". I think it's meant to show that Yuka left Luna first and that's why Luna chose to follow PSP and turned antagnoistic towards Yuka/Mikan, but at the moment it's not very convincing and I'm not very sympathetic because PSP is manipulative bastard.
- Yuka wakes up in bed and Naru tells her "It's my slave...*ahem* I mean, CLASSMATE Misaki's room." LOL MISAKI. Naru asks Yuka what happened, saying that her burn marks look like what would happen if she forced through a barrier, while Misaki takes a phonecall ON HIS FOLDING/CLAM MOBILE 13 YEARS AGO. Wow, Alice Gakuen's technology is amazing. Misaki tells them that he had just gotten a call from a friend who says that the school is in lockdown over trying to search out some criminal that attacked the principal.
- Yuka thanks them and gets ready to leave. Naru asks her where she's going in that state and then realises that she's going to leave the school. It says that she doesn't have enough Alice to teleport in that state. Someone comes to the door to check the roll, and Misaki holds them off by telling them there's only him and Naru in the room. Yuka tells Naru that her last request for him is to look after the kids that sensei and herself had taken care of. She climbs out the window and apologises, and says she must leave. Naru grabs her arm and says he's going with her. He confesses properly - he'd never done so until now because he liked both Yukihira and Yuka - but he tells Yuka now that he will protect her in Yukihira's place, and that he loves her.
- Yuka tells Naru to let go, because no one can replace Yukihira for her. She tells him that he needs to stay in the school and use his own way to do what Yukihira hadn't been able to do for the children. Meanwhile people are banging on the door to Misaki's room and Misaki's trying to keep them out. Naru says he doesn't want to do that, but Yuka tells him that she can no longer do that herself, so she'll have to go outside the school to do what she can. He needs to do it from within.
- Naru thinks that if he releases Yuka's hand, he might never see her again. "I don't want her to leave by herself...if I use my Alice..." Yuka and Naru wrangle with each other and Yuka pushes him away. Cuts to a flashback where Naru offers her his Alice Stone and says "You can use it on Sensei". LOL NARU. Yuka had told him off then, saying "Using that will get you really empty love. You should know better than anyone else." Cuts back to Yuka looking at an unconscious Naru on the ground. She opens her hand to find herself holding a HUGE Alice Stone. How much power did you use, Naru?? Misaki quickly tends to Narumi, while Yuka cries and says, "Naru, I'm sorry!"
- Yuka disappears out the window as the school security burst in. Misaki is holding the unconscious Naru in his arms, who is weeping. Misaki stares at the window at where Yuka had been and looks...I don't know how to describe it. As though he'd realised something? As though something's changed his mind?
- Yuka manages to get to the high school department, where she's found by Shiki and Jinno, and brought to the safe office of HSP. They think that MSP's Barrier Alice Stone probably protected her from detection. I mean I love this manga because the author is so good at keeping an eye on little details like these, but I wish the PSP's shrinking would make more sense to me.
- HSP pats Yuka on the head and asks her whether she has the determination to live outside the school. Yuka stops crying for a moment and stares at him with strong eyes and answers "Yes." HSP looks at her tummy and sees a glow and realises she's pregnant. .......WHAT. Since when can HSP do that. 2nd Alice?! Some random Japanese cultural/myth thing I haven't caught?! He tells Yuka that she seems to be with Yukihira's child. Yuka bursts into tears.
- Mikan has stopped crying and is now watching with a very depressed/shocked look on her face.

Okay...I AM biased, but I'm totally feeling it for Narumi in this chapter T__T It makes it just that much sadder when you think that he probably has no chance with Yuka. SAD. SAD. I wonder how he felt when he asked Mikan to call him "dad". SAAAD. And he's somehow managed to hold onto those feelings for so many years...The poor guy. I want a happy ending for him (and other characters too, of course, which makes it a toss-up between him or Shiki).

It seems like the flashback is due to continue at least for a bit in the next chapter. I have to say it's seriously dragging out its use-by date =___= I mean I think the flashback chapters are well-told and the stretched out pace does make you sympathise with these older characters, but there's got to be something wrong when the main characters are pretty much non-existant for nearly 20 chapters, which equate to about 3 volumes of manga. It's pretty much worth its own series in length now and we still haven't seen people like REO ==;;; Or, in fact, Noda doing anything that vaguely suggests he should be so stout in his support for Yuka.

Edit: Umm, yes, thank you to the 10 people who commented about HSP's Alice. I have read the comments, but I didn't change what I wrote because then the comments would seem out of place. Personally I'm a bit miff about that Alice because I'd expect HSP to be out of the school MUCH more often than he is at the moment...then again I don't remember much of what happened 20 chapters ago. Scrounging for Alices is shown to have mostly been done by others (such as Narumi or Persona), while HSP stays mostly in his office. You'd think with an Alice like that he'd be out in society more, instead of taking 20 years to find out Yukihira had a Nullification Alice.

nice :) thanks for the summary!

and to just add my two cents. I think the principle can see that Yuka has a baby since he can just look at a person's picture and detect alice abilities. Mikan is probably born w/ her nullification alice which means he could possibly see the alice in Yuka's abdomen

Not sure about the above two theories for HSP's Detecting-Pregnancy superpower of not-so-awesome, because then surely he'd have seen Yukihira's Alice? And the point of Yuki is that his Alice wasn't discovered until he was twenty-something? Or... maybe I've got it wrong. Oh well.

And... Misaki is still alive and appearing in this chapter too. Yay. (Has Reo ever appeared again after his vol. 3 chapters?)

"It's my slave...*ahem* I mean, CLASSMATE Misaki's room."
Major lulz.

I am not sure what Yuka stole. Naru's Alice still seems to be incredibly powerful, and then someone told me that she stole his feelings of love or something like that. Which I didn't know she could do.

Am also confused by the implanting thing. Sigh. So what did the Decay Alice do to him?

(...Naru/Misaki-flag time?)

I'm not too sure about the HSP thing but I do seem to recall it being mentioned somewhere as a one-liner ==;;; For it to still make sense most of the time after 20 volumes is a pretty amazing feat and I'm willing to not nitpick so much LOL.

As for what Yuka stole, I think when she met him again (right after the incident Mikan first met Yuka), there was a line somewhere that said in the literal sense "You stole my feelings that day". My interpretation is it's an abstract way of saying two things: one is that she stole his Alice, and the second is his feelings went with her and therefore he was unable to emotionally connect with anyone since then. I prefer not to interpret it so literally ^^;;;

I don't think Yuka steals the entire Alice all the time, though. Especially when during confrontations, the Theft Alice seems to simply just "nullify" whatever Alice it was and then turn it into an Alice Stone - e.g. Mikan with Luna's and particularly Persona's Alice.

The Decay Alice is making PSP quite sick but not killing him hehe.

Reo did appear in a flashback a while back (volume 15/16?) where Jinno was punishing Sakurano and Subaru for sticking up for Yukihira (after his death), and Naru refrains from helping them while Reo watches him.

thank you

Thanks for the summary :d I think the glow on Yuka's tummy is because the foetus/child is an Alice-and HSP has the Alice to detect Alices right? And to the confusion of Implant alices, i think there's gonna be more explanation to it coz at this rate ESP should have died at the Mikan generation... So i dunno :s And to someone above: HSP entered AA when he was very small, so he didnt meet his brother at all until he saw a photo once.

ohgosh. i've got this great feeling that this manga's got a LONG LONG way to go LOL :P That's not even a flashback anymore.. more like "JOURNEY TO THE PAST" (*correction: LONG-ASS JOURNEY TO THE PAST) anyways, I agree with you how sad it mustve been for narumi :( and he's so cute too! I wonder if Narumi knew from the start that mikan was yuka's daughter.. like when he first found out about mikan's alice. :P

OMG! Thanks a lot, been searching for this everywhere. I agree, the PSP part is really weird, I don't get what's happening with his body. :(
Poor Narumi though.
Still, I vote for YukaShiki. They are awesome.

Hope this is the last past chapter. *I think it is*

just passing by ^U^

uh i think in order to use other alices implanted in yourself effectively, you have to have the same "wavelength or something" with the owner of the alice. like what tsubasa said, noda's alice is the most compatible with him thats why yuka gave it to him.

maybe yuki and persona's alice are the super duper incompatible with each other and are also super duper incompatible with ESP's alice thats why it resulted to that?

but yea it still doesn't make sense and i hope it will be explained later.

THANX <3

OMG, thank you sooo much luna_rainbow, i was looking forward to this summary (although i took my time to post the comment ><) << I went back to the manga to confirm a few things..

Regarding the PSP, I think it's an issue of compatibility, hora remember when tsubasa said that he and yuka had hard time before finding noda's alice stone, which was compatible with him, so I thought maybe incompatible stones will have some sort of a side effect on the person who contains them...

And concerning the HSP's "new power" i dont think that is any new alice, his alice (if i remember correctly) was the ability to detect alices in people, so i thought that he might have detected mikan's alice(s) instead of mikan herself...

Misaki looked so shocked when Yuka left because she used the teleportaion Alice. And I do feel really sorry for Narumi. Hopefully he and Yuka have a chance to be together now, and raise Mikan together. Their running into each other all the time can't be a coincidence. Though I feel sorry for Shiki too. What a dilemma! Btw, thank you for your summaries!^^

The HSP doesn't have a second alice

Since he can sense people with alices, Mikan who is in her stomach has an alice. & when he notices an alice, I guess maybe it glows. Then he saw a glow in her stomach, meaning she is pregnant with a kid who has an Alice.

just a thought about HSP's alice

correct me if i'm wrong but isn't it that HSP's alice is to detect alice energy from an individual, even from a picture? he must have detected mikan's alice when he touched yuka's forehead... make sense though.
