gakuen alice chapter 114 summary

mayoraaseiGah. Have been too busy reading con reports to notice the Gakuen Alice came out. Uwaah. I swear two fandoms is too much for me to keep up with.
Anyway, here we go!
1) Thank you everyone for the comments. I don't have time to reply to most of them, but it lets me know that people want these summaries.
2) I read the scans from Chinese websites. English scanlations seem slower to release and harder to hunt down, so this is for fans who want faster gratification.
3) For the sake of your own privacy, please do not write your email address in your comments.
4) Mangafox has most of the newest English scans. If it's not there I don't know where you can get it. Please support the author by buying licensed releases where possible.
5) PSP = Primary School Principal. MSP = middle school/junior high, HSP = high school/senior high etc.
- It opens with Yuka's monologue: "That childish first love from long past, how full of pain and uncertainty it was, never wanting to let go of those hands, that bitter love. If I bore this love, perhaps all the bitter feelings would disappear, but sensei, my love, just like then, even as now, is still bitter."
- Yukihira is brought before HSP, who turns off the lights and pulverises him. Yukihira apologises but says he doesn't have regrets (causing an uproar with his confession to Yuka).
- Mikan et co watches as Yukihira says that he was worried about what Yuka intended to do and wants to help her.
- Yuka says that she has an idea of how to break PSP's plans - she wants to steal PSP's Alice, and says it was what she decided when she heard about PSP's Alice. Yukihira gets really worried about this idea and asks whether Yuka thought about the next step, after she steals the Alice, and besides, it's not like PSP won't be prepared against Yuka's Theft Alice. Yuka says even so, she doesn't want to keep causing trouble for her friends, such as Kaoru etc.
- Mikan watches and recalls all these other kids being so fond of Yuka.
- I think this is still Yuka talking: she has decided her own path, and she wants to protect the kids in this school, because they're like a family to her.
- Moved, Yukihira hugs her again, and Jinno and HSP are also moved to watch them in silence.
- The watching kids: Mikan looks a bit sad. Noda says that the scenes from the past are becoming disjointed.
- Jinno berates Yukihira for his recklessness - HSP has been able to defend Yukihira from PSP up until now, but with this public confession it's made it really difficult for HSP to keep defending him. Jinno points out that even though for one moment Yukihira protected one student, if he is forced to leave school because of it, then what will come of Yuka, not to mention the other students who depended on Yukihira? Particularly "that monster" who's starting to open up to Yukihira?
- Cuts to Yukihira and Yuka visiting Persona, and calling him "Rei" (katakana - the kanji is later introduced as "Zero"). Persona/Rei is very happy to see Yukihira. Yukihira introduces the kid to Yuka as "Serio Rei". Persona/Rei shies away when he sees Yuka and Yukihira asks him what's wrong. The watching kids realise the child is Persona. Yuka bends down to look at Persona/Rei and says, "It looks like this child..." There's a glow around her hand so I don't know if she used her Alice on him or if it's a coincidence. Persona/Rei looks surprised.
- Yukihira says when he first met Persona/Rei, he was flooded by the Rotting Alice and was only able to protect himself with Nullification. Persona/Rei has managed to get his Alice under more control now. When he was born it was so strong that his entire body turned rotten and he was abandoned by his parents. The school keeps him locked up under Middle School and he hasn't see daylight yet. Yukihira says even the name "Rei" was given to the kid by himself.
- So it turns out she DID use her Alice - she put Yukihira's Alice stone inside Rei, whose rotting-ness fades a little! Yukihira is surprised by this power, but both him and Rei are pleased, and he tells Rei that if they continue this for a while then it be okay.
- Someone reports something to PSP.
- I have a feeling I missed something important somewhere ==;; From the way Yuka's talking, it seems that Yukihira has to leave the school, and she tells him that she would protect the kids in his place, so he must take care of himself and come back.
- He hugs her and kisses her.
- Yuka's monologue: "sensei, since I was young I had a dream, a dream I never gave up on." It was for her to have a family with someone she loves and live together with their children, loving each other very, very much.
- Yuka and Yukihira are in bed together (yes) when Yukihira's phone rings.
- Noda tells Mikan to choose, from all she's seen so far, of what she wants to do next.
- PSP has also gone to get Persona/Rei and says to him, "You poor thing...who locked you up like this? Who would treat you so badly?"
Finally, the flashback is coming to an end!
