If one goes onto the Hana to Yume website and do their survey (which asks something like "What's the best movie you've seen recently?"), you get to download a gorgeous Gakuen Alice wallpaper as reward, as well as a selection of wallpapers of other manga, such as Skip Beat!. There's a lot of new artists on HtY, some of them with very good art. I must say I'm quite liking the flux of shounen-trained shoujo artists...they have better dynamic control than traditional shoujo artists. I might start reading stuff from the magazine again ~~; Have not been touched HtY stuff (except GA) since Yuki Kaori went on prolonged holidays and Fruits Basket dissolved into a pond of angst.

But just about the GA wallpaper - an interesting picture, with Yuka and Mikan's faces looking solemn in the foreground. Behind them stand a number of characters from Yuka's past - the 3 principals, Mikan's dad (he has blue eyes!), Narumi (aww, the sad 3rd person), NATSUME'S MUM(!!!!), Persona, and finally a white-haired guy looking side-on, so it's hard to tell who he is, but judging by the fact that he's wearing school uniform and standing near Natsume's mum, it might be Natsume's dad.

I've been thinking since last chapter (with Luna making friends with Yuka) that we should get to see Natsume's parents since they should be from the same era. Especially as some of Luna's first words to Natsume were "Like your mum, you have those disgusting red eyes."

Now, let's make an honest admission - it's really hard to tell who's who in her drawings, even when they're colour. I'm only saying that the person is Natsume's mum because 1) she's in girls uniform, and 2) she has those distinctive red eyes. My first glance at the picture and I thought she was Tono......................I'm so sorry. The hair looks the same!!!

Shuddup, I like Tono anyway, even though he's not very popular XD

Ahh...I love Gakuen Alice. I love how it's darker than Fruits Basket ever tried to be (pffft...domestic disputes? Try having your sister imprisoned and you LITERALLY worked to death by your principal!) and yet still manages to stay amusing and adorable and afloat atop all the angst. Wow. I just alliterated! =D

So from the moment Luna transferred, Jinno-sensei and Narumi(duh) would have known who she was.

I'm sad that we see so very little of Misaki-sensei when it comes to the past. We see photos of him with Narumi, so they must've been good friends since early school age.... But unlike Noda-sensei who keeps trying to go back in time to investigate, Jinno-sensei who pretends to be mean in order to get close to the principal, and Narumi-sensei who's somewhat of a loose cannon in trying to track down Yuka............Misaki-sensei does nothing! Why!! He should know just as much as the rest of them!

MAYBE HE'S A TRAITOR! LOL!!

The fans are going to chuck a huge fit.....and Misaki-sensei has a LOT of fans.........

It will be interesting to see Natsume's parents' story, since they would be amongst the "special class" that Yukihira would have "saved".

And we should definitely see soon the explanation of Persona's memory of Yukihira smiling at him and saying "Let me bear the weight of all your anger". But I wonder if the person who gave the Alice-limiting earring to Persona was the principal or Yukihira? Damn her and her ambiguous drawings =0=;

gakuen alice! gakuen alice! I've only seen a few episodes (the ones you gave me) and already really like that show! what the.. aaw, I don't know where the survey is due to my lack of being able to read.. T_T
