A young clerk with no knowledge of the 1989 Tiananmen Square crackdown allowed a tribute to victims slip into the classified ads page of a newspaper in southwest China, a Hong Kong daily reported on Wednesday.
The tiny ad in the lower right corner of page 14 of the Chengdu Evening News on Monday night, read: "Paying tribute to the strong(-willed) mothers of June 4 victims".

Public discussion of the massacre is still taboo in Beijing and the government has rejected calls to overturn the verdict that the student-led demonstrations were "counter-revolutionary", or subversive. Hundreds, perhaps thousands, were killed when the army crushed the pro-democracy protests on June 4, 1989.
Hong Kong's South China Morning Post said a young woman on the Chengdu Evening News classified section had allowed the ad to be published because she'd never heard of the June 4 crackdown.
Oh, the bitter irony =__=

Main character: Setsuna F. Seiei (last name needs checking).

Even the kanji is exactly the same. Argh.
Well, I certainly didn't like Setsuna from Angel Sanctuary (although I very muchly liked Kira from Angel Sanc =P)
A Gundam Meister for Celestial Being. He grew up in the war torn middle east and was discovered by Celestial Being at the age of 14 to have the special potential as a pilot. He doesn't speak much and comes off as a cool young man. He is now 16 years old.
(Celestial Being is the mysterious militia group that wants to use GUNDAMs to end all wars.)
Other names:
Director - Seiji Mizushima - Think Full Metal Alchemist. I've yet to hear anyone speak badly of that series, so things are definitely looking up. At least we won't have anyone resurrecting this time *ahem*GSeed*ahem*.
Series Composition - Yousuke Kuroda - Looks like a guy who has plenty of shounen experience under his belt: Trigun, Excel Saga, Hellsing (OVA), Infinite Ryvius, as well as the extremely popular soap Honey and Clover (the appeal of which I personally cannot understand, but each to their own).
Character design - Yun Kouga - Loveless. Period. So what, Gundam has officially acknowledged its yaoi overtones? =P
Animation character design - Michinori Chiba
Mechanic design - Kunio Okawara, Kanetake Ebikawa, Takayuki Yanase
Mechanic concept design - Hitoshi Fukuchi, Kenji Teraoka
Animation mechanic design - Seiichi Nakatani
The Gundam name is anything from "Excia" to "Exia"; Japanese media release states it as "e-ku-shi-a".

It would be curious to see what explanation they give for "GUNDAM" this time. In Wing it was some space mineral, and in Seed it was an acronym for the OS......
Edit: Someone said on the forums, quote "hope this new hero doesn't have a weird fixation on a guy friend... I swear, Kira was constantly saying Athrun all the time..."
HAHAHA, my dear fanboy, you're seriously underestimating the imagination of yaoi fangirls.
There's no argument this series will pull yaoi fangirls in, especially if the designer herself writes Loveless.
