Hi hi~ to all.

I'm still alive. Spent two hours today satisfying my morbid curiosity of the macabre by reading a textbook on forensic pathology. Wow, I guess one doesn't really understand the meaning of "horrific injuries" until one sees someone's brain oozing out of their nose.

It turned me off food for the day >__>; (That, and several pictures of disembowelment.)

So I went to Kino and lugged home Vampire Knight and Fairy Cube (so that mysterious phone number last week was Kino after all!) I'm so broke now *sniff*

I've got so much work before the semester ends.

...I got through today (8am-5pm) without caffeine. I suppose that's one achievement.

Oh yeah, the consensus on the interview: "Was crap. Don't ask."

Hmmph.

Edit: The ending to Ouran Koukou was retarded, but not as crap I thought it was going to be. The charging in at the last minute scene to change XXXX's mind......omg I was expecting that as soon as they said "Host Club is going to be disintegrated". It's so pathetic ==;

Edit2: I've been watching Tsubasa (season 2). Am now regretting the loss of all those hours. It started out much faster than the first season, and then it got so excruuuuuuuciatingly sloooooooow when they started catching up to the manga plotline. The filler episodes...omg, I never thought you could get more megalomaniac than the manga already is. Mokona's irresistibly cute though. I especially love how it goes "0h0h0h0~" The Chinese subs are dodgy T__T How can they just ignore the many nicknames Fai keep annoying Kurogane with? Kuropon~ Kurotan~ KuroP~ KuroPP~ Kurorin~ ....and "Biggie Doggie"... Bwahaha...Fai is the best XDD

Ero-guro (エローグロ) is a genre of Japanese pornography and hentai involving blood, gore, disfiguration, mutilation, urine, enemas, or feces. The term is gairaigo derived from the English phrase "erotic grotesque", and is frequently shortened to simply guro.

*Cough*

I'm sorry, not a big expert on Japanese pornography or hentai.

=P

...It's not really hentai since it's in a mainstream non-hentai shoujo magazine ==;;; But it's definitely erotic =___=;;; And there's no plot to speak of.....and I don't like her characters...and don't understand why she's so popular.

I actually came across an economist article the other day about the manga market in japan and apparently Doujin is what makes money, not the actual manga/original story?

And theres all these restaurants where waiter/waitress cosplay into anime characters to serve the customers, the case for both male and females too..sounds...cool....except most cosplay costumes look so crap

Depends on the original series and the doujin, to be honest. The doujinshi market is huge without a doubt, but for any doujinshi to be successful it has to 1) be based on an original series that has some degree of popularity, 2) be able to expound on relationships (usually) that the original series either doesn't want to or didn't go into.

Some clever manga (CLAMP's stuff is one I can think of) incorporate so much of the subtlety into their relationships already that doujinshi's can only be gratuitous rather than being better than the original.

Yeah...heard about the cosplay cafes. Maid costumes. Cat ears. I don't really get why it turns guys on, but there's a huge fetish with them >__>

...I really don't get the cat ears. Cat girls and cat boys make me go ugh.
