I happily marched to Rockdale library today, sneezing all the way, probably thanks to that bunch of dust mites in the pathology museum (which has made me sneeze from the moment I walked into that room at 1pm today until now).
Plonked myself down on a computer and searched up Howl's Moving Castle.
AND THE ONLY THING THEY HAD WAS DVD *WAIIIIIIIIIILS*
I want to read the book!!!!! Am going to hunt it down from Hurstville library.
I hate Hurstville library by the way. You can never find anything there that's supposedly "On Shelf".
To console myself, I went and lugged Thud! and the Death trilogy home. The librarian sniffed and said, "Hmmph. Terry Pratchett." What was that supposed to mean?
According to the system, Rockdale was also supposed to have Darksong. Didn't see it.
I don't like Rockdale either, because they have to put all the Young Adult and the Children's books upstairs =___= It's such a bother having to work out where it's from. A lot of old fantasy favourites always end up in YA. Carmody has about half in YA and half in adult, and I can't tell the difference - seriously, Obernewtyn is so much darker than Darkfall.
But Rockdale has a lot of anime and manga~~~ *Grins* Didn't have time to check them out today though.
