Australians claim to be down-to-earth, but designer labels report sales are booming

Irene! Stop helping the sales!!

Next week, Britain's Burberry will open its flagship store in Sydney's King Street: a three-storey 250-square-metre boutique

Three storeys?!?!?! ...Although Burberry bags are pretty, damn it. Lol.

Unlike the Japanese, who account for 41 per cent of the $US143 billion ($191.9 billion) luxury-goods market, Australians may be no luxury "otakus" (obsessed).

==;;; Har. What did I expect.

a 21-year-old student saving up for a wallet or a bag. I remember this one girl saying, 'I won't be able to eat lunch for two days but I want this wallet

Irene...that wouldn't be you and your Dior wallet, would it? ==;;;;;;;;;;;

(Yeah, I know Irene's not here to see this, but =P)

Hahahaha... that's pretty true about Rene.

And if that store ever opens I'll NEVER be able to drag her out of it.

And I just KNOW she'll end up buying the entire wallet/keychain/skirt/scarf/coat range at some point -__-;;....

sif Dior obsession isn't enough -___-;;...
