Doesn't have quite the same feeling as reading the actual book.

I shall(!!!) acquire for myself Harry Potter books 5 and 6 and endure through the deaths of two of my favourite characters.

At least Lupin isn't dead yet *sniff* Although I am sort of counting on an all-out massacre by the end of book 7.

Hands up if you think all the lame HP slash would end if Harry died?

Har har, yeah, no one's that naive.

(I mean, Sirius...no, even James' and Lily's deaths a dozen years ago hasn't stopped the sleuth of horrid HP slashfics that included them)

Anyway, regarding the summary, was actually reading Sirius' background info about his family and upbringing.

He's such a tragic character *tears up* Grew up in a narrow-minded, prejudiced family; his brother killed in (sort of) the service of the Death Eaters; his best friends killed by Voldemort; betrayed by another of his best friends; framed for the murders of the previously-mentioned best friends; imprisoned Azkaban at 22(!!!); escaped (no easy feat) because he needed to protect Harry; and got mistaken for some evil bastard by aforementioned protectee......and then..............

Argh.

Without a body to lay to rest too.

Damn it, I need to read those books!

But I remember whilst reading it...his life didn't seem quite so angsty. Probably overshadowed by the teenage whinangstage that goes on.
