Missed my biochem lecture yesterday because of pharmacology lab, spent on twiddling excel. Rather belatedly, I shouldn't have gone, because the exercise was so easy it was a total waste of one hour.
And of all days I missed the lecture, the recording machine for the lecture had technical difficulties!!!! UGH!!!!
When I asked the lab coordinator if I could miss some pharm labs, considering a lot of them are just excel exercises, she got pissy at me, which is just perfect.
So came home and read Furuba chapter 123 to get it all out of my head (excuse).
(122: Tooru fell down a cliff)
Yuki takes Tooru to hospital, but Kyou refused to go. Tooru's grandad thanks Yuki - interestingly, gramps refers to Tooru as "Tooru" and not "Kyouko" like he used to.
(More importantly, I should probably use a consistent romanisation, either "Tooru" and "Kyooko" or "Touru" and "Kyouko"...)
The zodiacs are really worried about Tooru and Kureno (who's also been hospitalised). Akito says she's okay. Yuki goes home and finds Haru lounging in his room, who tells him that Rin got really pissed off when she heard about Tooru, "Her face turned purple, then white, then grey, you really should see... Her boobs also got bigger..." At which point Yuki told him to stop boasting.
Yuki asks if Kyou is upstairs, and starts burning angrily, saying "It doesn't matter whether or not he has a reason to do what he did." Haru tells him to take his time as Yuki marches up the stairs, still burning.
He throws open the door and asks (demands) why Kyou didn't go, at which Kyou replies it might have been better if Tooru got together with Yuki instead. Yuki walks in front of Kyou and punches him across the room, glowering that if his idea of "protecting Tooru" is catching her before she fell off the cliff and saving Kyouko from the car, then he's arrogantly imagining himself as a hero.
Kyou angrily yells back that, "Even I have someone I want to become, I want to become like you."
Yuki punches Kyou across the room again, at which point Haru starts ordering pizza and Shigure is probably calculating the repair fees. Yuki shouts back that he was the one who wanted to become like Kyou, and is now really pissed off that Kyou managed to say it first.
Then Yuki bursts into tears.

Then Yuki yells a bunch of stuff at Kyou, most of which are stuff readers have been yelling at Kyou for a while now, such as "You are you, I am me, we can't become each other. There are things you can do and I can't blah blah blah" He also kicks down Kyou's door in the process.
Looking chastisised, Kyou runs off to hospital.
Haru then comes up and fetches Yuki for pizza. When they're finished eating, Shigure finally asks where Kyou has gone off to, since the hospital visiting hour ended ages ago. Yuki half-smirks as he glowers darkly, "Most people would have realised...that idiot really is an idiot..." He also earned himself the title "Black Yuki" (remember Haru and his angry spells? Black Haru/white Haru?)
Kyou's looking drained as he kneels outside the hospital door, which says "Visiting hour is over", and he mumbles to himself, "Ah...I've been fooled. No, wait, that's not right... calm down, first, I have to calm down..."
From recent chapters it looks pretty certain that Furuba is finally approaching finish.
The fact that people keep crying still irks me.
