mayoraaseiDug up chapters 115 to 122 (newest) and read them.
Good thing: It looks like it's finally going to bloody end!!!!!
I rather like the cover for c121. It has Kureno and Shigure sitting a distance apart and between them a picture of the flower that represents Akito. Is sweet.
I'm not actually going to bother reading what happened before 115, because it didn't seem too interesting.
1) Shigure and Akito's mum were talking about the past. It is overheard by Momiji. The curse on Momiji is broken. This is preceded or succeeded or accompanied by his thoughts, "I can't believe I was bonded to such a weak person." Akito felt the bond break and ran towards him, begging him not to leave the way she was begging Kureno. Momiji says rather coldly that even if he's alone, he intends to search for his happiness, because it is probably out there in the future. Momiji is starting to look more and more cool!
2) The curse on Hiro is also broken but there's no explanation why, probably just a sign of their bond disintegrating as Akito becomes more and more desperate to hold her world together. It is explained why Akito let Tooru into the house at the beginning - because she had made a bet with her mum that on contact with the outside world, the jyuunishi would still return to her side.
3) Akito stabs Kureno, blaming him for his kindness that was "half-hearted" and "killing her slowly". Akito then runs off, thinking "where would they go if they betray me" and realises Tooru's existence...
4) Tooru was about to confess to Kyou, but Kyou cuts her off and confesses his role in Tooru's mum's death. Apparently the two had been acquainted a very long time ago (before Tooru got lost and got saved by Yuki), and she's the only other adult who made Kyou felt comfortable. He saw Kyouko when Tooru got lost and promised to find her, but she was found by Yuki first. Kyou felt Yuki yet again stole something from him. Kyouko admonished his anger as "so your existence has to be defined by your hatred" (something like that), at which he gets even angrier (in a childish way) and avoided seeing her after that. On the day of Kyouko's death, he saw her at the crossing. He saw a car coming towards her, reached out to grab her and was abruptly struck with the fear of revealing himself as a cat in public. In that split second she was struck by the car and Kyou is convinced that he saw her lying in the pool of blood and accusing him of being "unforgivable".
5) Kyou runs off and Yuki runs after him, pissed off that he made Tooru cry. When the two are gone, Tooru gets accosted by Akito, who's still holding the knife she stabbed Kureno with. Akito abuses Tooru again, who points out that Akito is afraid of losing the bond, losing the confirmation that she's "necessary". Tooru then says she wants to be friends with Akito and offers her hand saying, "Let's start all over again. Pleased to meet you, my name is Honda Tooru. What is your name?" Akito says that she will get annoyed at her just like everyone else, but Tooru keeps smiling patiently. Akito is about to take her hand when the cliff they're standing on splits and Tooru falls down the cliff.
6) Chapter 122 in my opinion was absolutely pointless, consisting entirely of Shigure, Akito, Kyou and Yuki running around madly to make sure everything's okay (Kureno, Tooru, etc). Of course they are, as Tooru smiles up at Kyou saying "Everything's alright now". If the our world consisted of main characters, no one would die. Yuki's so sweet ;___;
Alright, it shouldn't take long now for the whole series to end =___=||| Yuki would probably get together with Machi over 1 page. We'll probably see Momiji playing a duet with Momo-chan (one frame). Kureno gets together with Uo, Rin with Haru, Hiro with Kisa, Hatori with Mayu(?), Shigure with Akito...
Unless there's another "boss" after Akito =____=|||||
...I really hope she doesn't drag it out past another year. It shouldn't be able to go on for that long ~~;
