mayoraasei: (Gakuen Alice)
[personal profile] mayoraasei

- As you (probably do not) remember, Nobara was getting taken away by PSPrincipal's cronies for letting Mikan and Natsume get away, Tono was trying to come to her rescue when someone grabs them both...it turns out to be Tsubasa! Who looks extra shiny and awesome here as he calls them with "Ice Princess and the Old Man" LOL
- Noda "smells" a familiar presence "on the wind". Metaphorically.
- Tono gets steadily more hysterical as he demands to know where Tsubasa's been and what's going on, because he notices that the three of them are in some weird swirly timespace and wonders if this is "The Underworld Theme Park" XDD
- Then they go more hysterical when they see misty shadows in the distance...who turn out to be the Mikan bunch.
- I want to see the Japanese scans ==; Why did Tsubasa call Hotaru what appears to be "Hotaru-nee-sama"?
- Mikan completely glomps Tsubasa =D
- Natsume watches Tsubasa in surprise as he remembers searching for Tsubasa. Tsubasa gives him a half-smile and says "Sorry for worrying you". Natsume looks relieved/moved/touched for ONE FRAME. Then he glares and "telepathises" "How long are you going to hold on to her?!" He then goes as far as to tell Tsubasa to go and glomp Misaki, and Tsubasa in retaliation glomps Mikan closer XDDD
- Mikan then notices Tono and Nobara, and flings Tsubasa aside as she goes to glomp Nobara =( She apologises for causing pain for Nobara, who replies that she had always expected this day to come (for her to turn against Persona).
- Noda pops up and says that he is surprised by their appearance, and they all glare at his untimely interruption of the moving scene and think that he doesn't look surprised at all. Noda remarks that "by the looks of things, the two of them [Tono and Nobara] are here because of Tsubasa" and asks for an explanation.
- Tsubasa says that Yuka rescued him when he was badly wounded on the mission with Natsume. She recognised him as being with Mikan last time. Tsubasa reveals while he remained known as "MIA" to most of the school, he was snuck back to the school with Yuka's help and brought to HSPrincipal. While he was hidden there, he was healed by Subaru.
- He says that if he was found by PSPrincipal then he would be sent back on missions, so both HSPrincipal and Yuka had advised him to stay hidden and watch the school's proceedings. He then says even so, the HS section is being watched and discovery would be imminent, so Yuka had given him an Alice stone "that would give me significant degrees of freedom of movement and possessing a strong kekkai". **Kekkai is like a force shield sort of concept, and the one person known to be very strong in this Alice is the MSPrincipal.
- Tsubasa says that Yuka searched through the Alice stones that she had in her possession and after many times of experimentation, implanted Alice stones that were most compatible with him into his body. Mikan looks surprised by the concept. Tsubasa adds (with some disappointment I bet =P) that in the end the only compatible stone was Noda's time-travelling Alice.
- These implanted Alice stones still function like stones - in that you can only use as much Alice as it stored, and once you use it up, it's gone. Noda says that this is part of Yuka's two-sided Theft Alice, where Alices can be implanted into others. He has a flashback of a voice calling "senpai...Kaoru-senpai...Shiki-senpai", and of Yuka standing between Kaoru and Shiki.
- Tsubasa tells Mikan that he honestly doesn't think Yuka is a bad person, and asks what she thinks, from what she's learned from the past.
- The past continues....:
- Yukihira has bandages all over his face, and Yuka apologises for his wounds...which happened a day ago, with HSPrincipal (twice) kapowing Yukihira for "Didn't I tell you to not do stupid things like this on your whim?" and "Use your brain. Who do you think has to clean up the mess?" Jinno-sensei also whips the daylights out of Yukihira....ah, so that's where the whipping tradition started XDD
- Yukihira dismisses that because of a more pressing concern...he has asked MSPrincipal to look after Yuka, and her response was a derisive: "Because HSP has begged me many times there is no other choice, I forced myself to accept meeting you, but I had no idea you were someone who littered without restraint and others had to tidy up after you. Such irresponsibility is not even fit for a gorilla...no, not even for a worm..." Yukihira is then forced to perform "The Dance of the Gorillas" much to the amusement of the Hanahime and to the embarrassment of Yuka XDDD Just to note that Kaoru's watching from amongst the Hanahime...
- Afterwards Yukihira insists on introducing Yuka to the rest of Special Class, and gatecrashes Kaoru in a state of undress on top of a guy...hmm, personally I think he looks like and not like Natsume's dad, so ^shrug^ It's hard to tell with her art. The guy squeaks with embarrassment and flees with his clothes.
- Yukihira berates Kaoru for hitting on cute innocent guys and says that's not like her taste LOL. Well...like mother, like son? XD Kaoru retorts that he must be purposely getting in her way because she laughed at him on the Hanahime party.
- She then notices Yuka and waves at her, exuding all sorts of sexiness (well, roses).
- Someone bursts in the through the door (Kaoru's still half-dressed ==;) screaming "Narumi from primary school was bewitching a teacher and taking embarrassing XXXX photos again and those photos have gone public! Please come help!"
- Yuka is starting to look really worried XD

There's quite a bit in this chapter =) I'm sorry if my Tsubasa/Mikan love is oozing from the lines XD Just to set the record straight, I don't want them as a romantic couple, but I really like their relationship now.

I think Ruka mentioned somewhere that everyone in Natsume's family had the fire Alice, but I wonder if the explosion Alice that Shiki has was Kaoru's Alice? Then again, Kaoru must have died quite a while after Yukihira died, since Natsume's the same age (maybe a few months older) than Mikan, and he has a sister a few years younger... So she probably won't come to grief when Yukihira does...

I would be very =/ if Mikan attempts to change the events that lead to Yukihira's death. I know we haven't had a proper death in Gakuen Alice and everyone's young which usually means a young audience, so authors tend not to like killing characters...but this is Hana to Yume we're talking about, not Ribon, so it's not beyond the magazine's calibre to have likeable characters dying in gruesome ways.

thanks
