a dream of cats and gods
17 Mar 2018 09:22 pmHad another bizarre dream that would make a really good story (LOL)
A young kitten (with black stripes on a grey coat and white belly) was adopted by a deity. He was very fond of the deity (in a child-like way) so he learned to become a human. Unfortunately, as an animal, he doesn't have a good grasp on good and evil, and he killed a lot of people, thinking he was helping the deity.
The deity was very disappointed in him and grew distant. Then the cat learned because of all the deaths he has caused, his life has been shortened and he will only live to 8 years of cat life. At this point he is about 1 cat-year old but his human form looks like a teenage boy. He became very sad and wished that if he was reborn, he could be a plain cat without trying to live as a human. Then he became even sadder because he knew the deity would live for thousands of years and he wondered if the deity would even remember him after he dies.
While he's moping in his room (in this strange building that had a central courtyard and all the steps to different levels were in the centre, and for some reason I distinctly remember the railings were metal with floral patterns), the deity is trying to find him....
I woke up and then felt sad for a whole solid day =/
