mayoraasei: There is no such thing as coincidence (johnnys)
Watched the recent Music Station episode where KT performed "Rescue" in full. Think I'm addicted to this song ♥ even though Kame went atrociously off-tune several times LOL.

As much as I've disliked Akanishi's attitude (you can tell since I haven't called him "Jin" since 06 =P), it's never been possible to deny he's the best singer in the group, and he practically never goes off-tune except when the earpiece volume is turned too low (the 07-08 Johnny's New Year was probably most memorable for how everyone wobbled off-key).

Akanishi sings practically through the whole of "Rescue", although you probably can't tell just by listening. It looks like they're trying different harmony combos to the standard Akame, and I'd like them to give up already =__=|||||

The second verse goes Akanish+Ueda then Akanishi+Taguchi then Akanishi+Nakamaru. A/U was okay except you can barely hear Akanishi, Taguchi is so used to singing the same as everyone else he just overwhelms Akanishi's voice instead of matching the dynamics, and Maru is so off-tune that it's just discordant Orz

I mean I can understand why there's less Kame in this one, and there was, by contrast, more Maru. But there was no AK harmonies except a few of the "I don't wanna cry alone" lines ;__;

I love how Koki opens the song speaking "I'm not scared" in a shaky voice HAHAHAHA.

Did Akanishi totally forget his lines for "Say my name"? =___= It sounded like "eyyyy...eyyy....eyyyyyy"

But when Akanishi belted out the "I don't wanna cry alone", after singing through the entire song, and hit the notes perfectly (in direct contrast to Kame LOL), I have to say I felt a sliver of admiration for the guy. As long as he doesn't go back to singing Haha or Love Juice or other songs of appalling taste.

There must be some hidden rule, if not in the faculty, then at our clinical school, that says "thou shalt be organised, if not, thou shalt be extremely disorganised".

Usually days and activities are fairly well-constructed, within reason obviously, since there's always the registrar who was called off to an emergency or the GP who was stuck in traffic (yes, see the difference =P)

But whenever our clinical school organises anything with another clinical school, something on the communication wire collapses. Last year they told us to all go all the way from bloody CONCORD (a hole) to RPA in the city, for a lecture that was scheduled for the next day and clashed with all of our timetables.

Today we were scheduled for a paediatrics session in Westmead. The wealth of info we received was a photo of the front desk, a map that didn't tell us where we were supposed to end up, and a time. Amazingly most of us got there on time, although our tutor was late, which probably wasn't her fault.

And then we sat down and she said, "So, what are you planning to get out of today?" We looked at her with a sinking feeling and said, "Er...that's what we want to know."

So while I spent more than 3 hours in total travelling, I had only 2 hours at the hospital, only one hour of which we spent with our tutor, and only half that time we spent with a patient (an 8-month-old whose default disposition was to blow raspberries at anyone she fixed her eyes upon).

It was the most wasted activity in the course to date. Apart from that day we went all the way to RPA for nothing. But at least I had lunch that day.
