movies to watch~
13 Aug 2007 09:46 pmI've given up trying to decide whether or not not to watch Harry Potter and have decided that indeed I shall not. I'll watch it whenever they decide to run it on TV. Hah!
That said, here are movies I want to watch, and will in fact seek to secure fellow-minded people to come with me:
Stardust: (20/09) Anything written by Neil Gaiman is worth watching just for the sake of....the fact it's written by Neil Gaiman. W00t!! It's like asking would I ever be watching something written by Pratchett without having heard of it before? Like. Duh. And this thing is ridiculously star-studded. Sienna Miller, Michelle Pfeiffer, Claire Danes, Robert de Niro.......I feeeel for the budget. I love how the plot description says "Stabbed in the heart". HAHAHA. That's soooo....Gaiman? Like, what on Earth is this Beowulf thing (screenplay by Gaiman) that has plot as "Spear through the chest"?!
The Dark is Rising: (04/10) I must read this series! It has a Will in it. Good ol' Will, ha!
The Golden Compass: (07/12) My impression of the original book was decidedly unglamorous, but Pullman insisted that Kidman be in it =/ I shall have to watch it and see. I still think she's overrated ==;;;
Prince Caspian won't be out until May next year ToT
Someone! Come! Watch! With me! (Not Beowulf. At least not until there's a proper synopsis.)
Particularly Stardust! (Because I have promises for the other two already =P You guys better not back on your word!!)
