CG-ing...or trying to

I love the mask tool <3<3<3<3

Alright, I know I'm a bit slow on coming to it, but the mask tool is absolutely a lifesaver ^0^ Especially when you're colouring fine details...

Now I just have to figure out how to use the pen tool.

Anyone got tips for CG-ing by mouse? Is there a way to do fine strands of highlights for the hair by mouse without having inhuman precision? Or should I just stick to the watercolour effect? ==;
