Now I can smirk at Irene *snigger snigger*

Ah, in reflection, my week started..okay (chem), went severely downhill (bio), hit rock bottom on Wednesday (calculus), bobbed up a little (phys) and ended on an okay note (algebra).

Grr...Bio was probably the worst in terms of my expectations and what was actually in the exam.

Ecology: I do realise that conservation is a high priority in the field of ecology, but 5 lines for a 5 mark questions that asked for examples along with descriptions??? What the heck?? But, at least this section was okay, mainly due to my l33t bs-ing skills.

Microbiology: If there WERE to be any solid piece of food ANYWHERE, some rancid pigeon will gobble it down before the "digestive enzymes" of any microbe can. No, the pigeon will digest the microbes. The end. Naughty pigeon.

Cell biology: THIS WAS THE WORST SECTION EVER. "You do not need to know details," he says. "You only need to know basic concepts," he says. UH HUH. Someone place a restraining order on this guy - in case a sudden homicidal rage overwhelms me....now where's that big butcher's knife I kept for special occasions like these?

Genetics: So many diagrams >.<

Taxonomy: I love this guy ^0^ He actually told us in advance what the question was, and pretty much gave us the answer to it ^-^

In fact Differential Calculus was the worst, but that was what I had expected. I left 14 marks worth blank, and I know half of the stuff I didn't leave out were...mainly BS, which from experience, does not work for maths. *sigh* I only hope I passed this unit. I'd hate to repeat anything >.<

Physics was alright in that it wasn't as hard as I expected - particularly since all my study was done the night before (tsk tsk tsk...aigo ;__;) It was do-able, because a lot of it was regurgitatable theory, but there are also quite a bit of derivations >.<

Personally I thought the Linear Algebra exam was harder than past exams - in most past exams, the vectors section were just simple applications of formulae and laws, but this year's one actually asked for some derivations as well. It took a bit more thinking I guess :P The first 4 questions took me around an hour, whereas last year's paper took me 40 minutes...And I didn't have time to check my answers >.< This is the exam I'm most likely to stuff up due to silly arithmetic mistakes. The last question was...evil ~___~ I don't know...it's so hard to get your head around the question, and I suck at doing proofs T__T

But! It's all over now ^0^ *Gloats* Will eventually update neglected website ^-^
