The Male winner: Char Aznable from Mobile Suit Gundam.
The Female winner: L from Death Note.
After little thought these results are to no surprise. Every man wants to be Char, and every women wants to snuggle with L. This is the way of the world, either accept it or hit the road hippy.
Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm excuse me?!?! L is possibly the very last person anyone would want to snuggle with. WTF is up with that? So a character can't possibly top a women's poll (and by the way, that's "every woman", thank you very much) unless women want to snuggle with them? WHO THE F*** wants to snuggle with L anyway? I certainly don't like him because of his eyeshadow and mascara and itchy feet, I watch him because he's clever, and that cleverness isn't something you'd want to snuggle with.
