星期天，站在人山人海的George St上，看著滿街掛滿的紅旗，心裏說不出的難受。
中國新年到底是甚麼呢？
是封建時留下的傳統嗎？
排斥所有立國前的文化的共產黨為甚麼要慶祝？
既然是喜慶，為甚麼拿著「被鮮血染紅的旗子」來慶祝？
打壓所有「有神論」學說的政府，為甚麼拿出十二生肖的故事？十二生肖的動物，在傳說中，不正是神封的嗎？
中國新年，到底是慶祝甚麼？
是慶祝我們中華文化嗎？
然而在中國，現在還有多少人重視「仁義禮智信」？相反，有多少人看了這五個字會竊笑？
現在的座右銘是「人不為己，天誅地滅」，這難道是東土神州做了5000年禮儀之邦的文化精髓嗎？
在離我們正統文化走的越來越遠的時候，我們到底在慶祝甚麼？
聖誕節的時候，基督徒會反省，聖誕聖誕，是他們的主誕生之辰，在近年卻變得完全商業化。
我們也反省吧。一個已經不相信傳統的國家，一個已經失去了文化意義的節日，空虛的繁榮，新年真的好嗎？


I am rather pissed off at this article for the factual error in calling this year the "Year of the Golden Pig" (which is acknowledged later)..........but it might as well as at the beginning that it's NOT cycling through gold but through fire?!
