my layout is 16-colour friendly~
4 Sep 2006 09:26 pmIt is also greyscale friendly, which is even more sad ~~;;;
Here is a gift for everyone~ Only because I have an assignment due tomorrow =P
Saikou no Kataomoi (click to download; only up for 7 days). It's the ending song to Saiunkoku Monogatari.
Yeah, that's the anime that's kind of like Fushigi Yuugi but not, because it has better plot and the only similarity is that it's set in a pseudo-Chinese-empire fantasyland (and a few of its seiyuus are shared).
I'm not a big fan of the song myself. I prefer the opening better. This one makes me think of candlelit dinners and quiet poshy restaurants. Rather, it makes me think of what might be played at such restaurants ==;
The title means The Greatest Unrequited Love. Poor Ryuuki....
Rough translation of first half:
You who have always been so carefree, now
What dream are you chasing in this rain?
At whatever place you fight alone
You restrain your tears, don't you?
"I'll be fine by myself"
You are the same as me
Even if this is the long way about
Somehow I like this road better
Contentment is the joyful moments
When I recall memories of you
The vividly colourful season will surely
Take these thoughts to you
...Japanese songs are really quite insistent on "taking these thoughts" to people ==;;;; I can't count how many songs I've seen that line in.
