It started off with me and my mum. I think we were in America somewhere (because only in America do they have dodgy subway systems...except Sydney's is dodgier! Go Sydney!) We were at a station on the blue line and wanted to get to one on the grey line, but if we caught a train, it would circle through their equivalent of "Central" (which they tend to call "Union Station"...or maybe that's just LA) and back down again, which takes more time than simply walking.

Anyway, so we started walking, and somewhere along the way it wasn't my mum any more, it was Grace (from St George) ==; While we were walking she was telling me about how well her little brother (Grace doesn't have a little brother) did in the HSC ==;;;;

We eventually came upon this bridge. It was about 2 lanes wide, except it's a pedestrian bridge built across a river. The river was so blue and empty, and so was the bridge (not blue, just empty). As we crossed the bridge and approached the other side, we saw that the other side was a severely overgrown jungle. Not the "monkeys swinging on lianas" type jungle, ahem. It was just a mess of dark green and a walkway connecting off the bridge, except the walkway disappeared into utter blackness about 3 or 4 metres inside. A few people before us had gone in, and I was wondering how they managed to walk through it, and if they had brought a torch.

Grace got a little freaked out and decided against entering and pulled me back, except as we were leaving, I saw 2 people from my degree (okay, Med Sci is a degree where everyone does everything together, so we know most faces), Alison and the guy who's always with her and whose name I never remember. They were waving at us from a cordoned off area of the "forest" and saying that it was okay, just go in, before they walked back into the blackness. (The road of the forest seems to weave in and out as it went downhill.)

We went back the way we came anyway, and when we were off the bridge, we saw the same 2 people again @___@ And I was saying how I saw them on the other side of the bridge, and they were telling me I was seeing hallucinations because of something weird about the plants. As we kept walking back, telling everyone we met to retraced their steps, we saw more people from our degree...and then we realised that people were missing, because they probably went into the forest ahead of us.

...And then I thought, "Hey, it's about time I woke up now" and I did.

It was a rather Paul Jennings experience @___@
