This anime makes me go "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEUUUUUUUGH?!?!?!?!?!!" every 5 seconds.
It's hilarious. If only because it's the first time I've seen Ishida Akira (Athrun) in such a straight-laced but adorably pathetic role. And it's also the first time I've heard him actually purposely lower and roughen his voice to get that Meiji-era samurai sound.
And his character looked so thunderstruck when he found out that his pet duck wasn't his pet - or a duck - after all. Awww.......
(He isn't even the main character)
...Ishida Akira and Suzumura Kenichi (Shinn) have been appearing in a lot of anime together...and they're almost always on opposing sides O__o
...Has anyone watched Harukanaru Toki no Naka de? It looks too Fushigi Yuugi-like for my tastes, and the girl annoys me from the 2 chapters of manga I've seen. The only reason I want to try the anime is because it has an all-stars cast ;__;
