The freaky sadistic narcissist guy in Saiunkoku (the one who's from the Cha-province and is supposedly really like the emperor) is voiced by Koyasu Takehito (Mwu).

So we have the voice actors of three major characters in Fushigi Yuugi being cast as three major characters in Saiunkoku ==;;

Tamahome = Midorikawa Hikaru = Seiran/Jing-Lan
Chichiri = Seki Tomokazu = Ryuuki/Liu-hui (the emperor)
And now...
Hotohori = Koyasu Takehito = Senya (that weird freaky guy who keeps using fake names)

Interesting how Koyasu Takehito voiced a narcissist beautiful emperor (Hotohori) and now he's back as a narcissist beautiful head of family ==;;; Even their penchant for not bothering to tie up their hair is the same ==;


GOMEN NAAAASSSSAAAAAAAIIIIIIII NURIKO-SAMA I HAD TO chop your head off the picture. Couldn't find a good picture for Hotohori (Hotohori: What are you talking about?! I'm always beautiful! How can you not find a good picture of me?!?) In conclusion, Hotohori looks soooo much better (Hotohori: OF COURSE I DO.)

Seiran is so much better than Tamahome, probably entirely because he won't get the girl =P Both Chichiri and Ryuuki are really cute XDD At least this time he is the emperor, rather than playing dress-up.

Yes but don't you find those narcissitic, beautiful type of characters have the sexist voices? (It could be just me >.<..) and somehow also the insane psycho killers. -__-;;...

It's probably a good thing I don't know what the voice actors look like, I don't want my image shattered just yet, I could just live off their voices for the time being ^^;;;

Heh...I'm not a huge fan of Koyasu Takehito actually. It must be his roles, but I can only associate him with the good-natured "big brother" or "nice uncle" type guy (and also because his voice never change across roles).

My long-standing favourite is still Ishida Akira~~ XDDD

Miyano Mamoru (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=10397) seems to have a lot of potential (well, he's still a newbie~). It also helps that he doesn't look like a Picasso portrait ==;;

Chances are they've only managed to get the raws fairly recently, and it will take a while before a good sub comes out. I'm pretty sure there's no shortage of people asking for it.

Well, movies are longer than an anime episode anyway, and voice actors tend to have better (more distinct, clearer) enunciation than general actors.
